I go to the range about twice a month and shoot an average of 150-200 rounds per session thru my XD45. I field strip and clean after each session. Found that some basic household tools assit is getting the grime and deposits out of all the nooks and cranies....a toothbrush and pipe cleaners. Spray the slide and components down with Hopps and get to work. Might want to give them a try.
