I did have to listen to the previous mentioned gun shop owner (see above post) tell a customer that the Marlin or Ruger (I cannot remember which brand) rifle in .17hmr was used as a sniper rifle in other countries. The guy was wanting a small caliber but wasn't quite sure and this gun store owner just had to have one it stock. He also told him it was perfect to take deer with, just a well placed shot was all that is needed... He was also (pre Sany Hook) telling everyone that AR's would be outlawed unless you were grandfathered. That the president was doing an executiveorder to do it. .... He sold quite a few AR's to some sheep...
