M1A bolt roller greaser

A lot of people have said you can use a .45 ACP case to grease the roller on the bolt of an M1A/M14 rifle.

I tried out an actual roller greaser I bought from Fulton Armory today and there really isn't a comparison.

The real greaser is sized just to allow the roller to fit into the grease recess. So tight that the only place the grease can go is into the roller bearing and out the other side. Kind of like hitting a grease fitting with a gun and keep pumping until all the nasty grease comes out and you start seeing good grease come out on a vehicle.

You just can't get that kind of penetration with a .45 ACP case.
