I carry a Springfield Xd subcompact 9mm and have family and friends that carry the same gun in 40 cal and all have been very happy with the performance of the weapon. Very accurate and reliable, but not a pocket pistol. Subcompacts are usually meant as guns carried CC in a holster, as many pocket size guns are referred to as mouse guns.
