If you fire a P32 and a P3AT/LCP back to back you will note what a previous poster said:

After doing exactly that, I ditched the .32. I consider the .380 round "marginal" and by this measure, the .32 is "distinctly sub-marginal".
Note--I am not saying that a .32 cannot be lethal. A pellet gun can be lethal. But I'm not trusting my life to either one...
