I've also got a single shot 12 with a 32" barrel and full choke.

but my 1200 does just fine with trap and skeet. Sure a nice o/u would be better but I'm talking pumps and I don't see another pump having any advantage over the 1200 (other then maybe a couple inches on the barrel)

For deer the 1200 does just fine. I generally hunt with slugs and its very accurate out to 50 yards or so (farthest I've tried...probably accurate out to much further). at least minute-of-vitals lol.

Some people will say that the 26" barrel is too long for HD use but I disagree. With the collapsable stock and short LOP It's even less of a difference in OAL from the 18-20" guns. and the 14+1 capicity has me covered even in case of the zombie acpolopise

The .410 I would like to build will basically be a goof off gun and something for rabbits and squirells. Its just not fun with a 12 for me and I need something a little more challenging (would love to use a .22 on the little guys but ALAS living in a commie state means that's outlawed as well.)
