FYI - Bushmaster and DPMS are both owned by Cerebus/Freedom Group; they are assembled in the same plant in Ilion, Illinois. The company also owns the Remington trade mark.
So unless you are buying an older rifle, from before the acquisition, they are essentially the same thing.
