True. Thirty years ago, if you had thrown $1000 into a stock portfolio that was indexed off of the S&P 500 and just forgotten about it, it would be worth almost $18,000 today. How many current $1000 guns do you think will be worth $18,000 thirty years from now? And more importantly, do you think you could pick them out today?
