Regarding the subject article:
I'm wondering, was this article written several months ago, then a decision to finally publish it made for the 12/08 issue?

I ask as there's a comment in the article which states, "Currently Glock does not offer a version of the SF with a standard single-side mag button."

That statement is no longer true, although I don't know exactly when this option was introduced, but I suspect later 2007 or early 2008.

There were some other comments regarding the new magazines which I may not completely agree, but the article was otherwise OK.
