That was a quick decision... sounds like someone over ruled your tentative purchase. I really like my Trooper Mark III in 357mag. It's my favorite shooter for the range. But I paid less than $350 for mine about 5 years ago in similar condition. Price as others have said in my opinion is upper end of fair market. But I will say that I saw one for sale at about $1000 a couple of months ago at a local gunshop. That was high. $650 would have been fine if I were in the market.
