Thanks, I hadn't followed that one. However, I don't agree that it's degenerated into a flame war. The topic engenders passion; the posts are passionate. TFL does not consider this crossing the line.

Crossing the line is when Members begin to insult Members. At that point, we're obligated to step in. If, on the other hand, as author of the thread, you're asking me to close it...I'd probably honor your request.

In the meantime, if I know Dennis and Rabbit Assassin, we have the beginnings of a better understanding here. If, I'm right, you'll have much to be proud of for starting that thread.....civil discourse on controversial topics are what TFL is all about.
