Handloads.com shows 6.7 gr. for 1,050 fps for JHP.

According to my Lyman book you are at the max

My Lyman and Lee also indicate that 6.1 is max also. But handloads.com suggest 6.7 grains and I have found other resources online which list much higher which I will not post. At 6.1 the recoil seemed very light. POI was very low and group was all over the place. My best load so far for accuracy was 200gr LSWC 231 5.0 790 fps. Since this is a new gun for me my load development is in its infancy.

I considered that a possibility. But I have 3 rifles and 4 pistols which register loads as expected. Plus A buddies 1911 with my loads had 30-40 fps increase in velocity, better accuracy, and standard deviation.

I have not had my best results using Win231 with 185 or 230gr bullets.
