Simplistic suggestion: "Colt."

Colt is pretty much at the top of their game, they have models covering the spectrum in both price and features, and they're Colts. There are very good 1911s available from the big three Philippine manufacturers for less than what a Colt will cost, but if you can afford a Para P14.45 you can afford a Colt.
