I'll second what jimro said in his post. 5.45 surplus ammo is cheep and not very accurate. You would be better served with .223. And theres always the possibility that the cheep 5.45 surplus could dry up. All it would take is one stroke of are leaders pen. Is any 5.45 made domestically right now, I don't know.
