In my formative years, my cash flow from mowing lawns was meager to say the least. I had a JC Higgins semi-auto .22 and a JC Higgins single shot 20 gauge.
My lube of choice was LSA, due to the fact that a local surplus store sold the
4oz bottles for 25 cents.
It worked very well and I got to love the smell of it.
I know it is still available here and there, but not at the old surplus price, so I use modern gun oils now.
