My "preferred" carry method is IWB.

I carry a 4" N-Frame Revolver this way daily with a J-Frame in the Support Side Pocket. If I was in your situation I might consider just a J-Frame in the pocket. I really hate "off body" carry for a "Primary" and I'm not thrilled to use it for a "Secondary" either.
