You should test any hook your are considering with all of your gun cleaning/protection chemicals to be sure there won't be a chemical reaction that harms the finish of the gun or grips. You should also test for a chemical reaction between the hook covering (vinyl, plastic or rubber) and the finish of wood grips. I had a slight problem.
