Guess what? Those Hornady guys are smarter than I! There's a screw at the far left of the base...guess what it's for? It wasn't listed on the "instruction" paper, but I now know. It's a calibration screw. After setting all weights to "0" screwing in or out that screw will move the pointer up or down. Sheesh, I love engineers! Got it working now, just weighed a bullet -- ergh...349.5 grains. They cheated me a half grain of lead!
I'll have fun this afternoon weight-sorting my bullets -- good practice too. Thanks for the clue-in SKR!!
