I had read many claimed these required a felt wad to shoot well so I punched some out prior to range day. At my typical 50 yds I found the first shot about a foot left and several inches low with a very distinct keyhole shape. The next two I tried with a wad and they were nearly touching and just under the bull. That’s when I decided to buy the mold!

My rifle (Lyman) states the bore is roughly .502 x .520” and the measurement on a REAL was something like .517”.
