Have to disagree with ya on one thing Tidewater, navy conversions and 73 colt clones aint much different in price.

I have all three guns mentioned. I like them all. I think I like the conversion the best of the three because it has the balance of a 1851 navy but loads as fast as the 73. I also like the history though. With the solid frame of the 73 you could fire more powerful loads if so inclined. You have to weigh the pros and cons for yourself. Noone can tell you what you'ld be happy with. My opinion.

By the way, they also have a Remington conversion with a loading gate in 45, 44, and 38.
