I find the Federal 125 grain is a stiff recoiling round even in the Model 28.I think the Blazer 158 grain JHP is perfect for K frame mags.It has little recoil and is pretty accurate at potential defensive distances.It still has more muzzle energy than the 45 ACP and about twice that of a .38.We were issued the 110 grain on my job-they were Remington-Peters JHP's.I still have a few boxes left and I retired 12 years ago.Sellier&Bellott 158 grain FMJ's are great for practice.Moderate recoil,low flash,and really accurate.
