Their stocks are identical, although the Tenite is slightly slimmer & lighter than the wood stocks.

The below guns are my 1951 Savage .22LR/.410 Model 24B (as stamped on the action side) and my 1940 Stevens Model 22-410 Tenite (the model "Model 22-410" is roll stamped on the barrel) - which, BTW, remains fairly pristine despise weekly use.

But then, I don't whack animals with it as a "coup de 'grace", either.
