The Tasco world class scopes are very good for the money . I had the same issue when I bought my Ruger American rifle . Did not have the cash for a nice scope and a buddy pointed me to the Tasco world class scopes .

Another good cheep scope for a 22 is the simmons 22mag with the paralax adjustable objective .

I would recommend the simmons for a 22 so you can adjust the paralax the tasco has a fixed paralax at 100yards . If your 10/22 is stainless the simmons comes in silver as well .
