You are correct , I was thinking of WW680.
Did a Google search to satisfy my curiosity and found a lot of info ( some of it contradictory) on WC680. The concensus seems to be it's in the same class as AA 1680 or 4198, both excellent in the Hornet and 7.62X39. There is data on AR15.com for the 7.62X39, there might be something there for .308 if you want to look around. The GD section there tends to get a little out of hand , but the tech info is very good.
