there are many good options. I have had bad experiences with Taurus but they do make what your looking for in the sub compact 24/7 line. Ruger SR series. I would say a good used Smith & Wesson 4516 or 457 would do nicely. The Smith & Wesson CS45 Chiefs Special futs the bill but not the capacity you want. A 3" barrel with a 14 round double stack mag kind of defeats the purpose of having a 3" barrel since the grip is the hardest thing to conceal. I cant say iIlike Kahr pistols either but the CW45 is small. I would say look at the used Smiths I listed or a Glock 30 can be had for that range as well but they are thick.
