The Model 1889A (sometimes called the "Bodeo") is a folding trigger Italian service revolver, notable today mainly because thousands were made into table lamps by Interarms, since no one wanted them as guns. They are basically a Warnant system. They were made by Glisenti and others. Caliber is 10.35mm Italian, also known as the 10.4mm Italian Ordnance revolver.
To remove the cylinder, pull the center pin forward, then turn the block to the right. With the block out of the way, pull straight out on the cylinder pin to remove the cylinder. To expose the lockwork, unscrew the takedown screw on the left side (it has a thumbpiece so it can be removed by hand) and swing the sideplate up and out. The lockwork is pretty simple. The firing pin is frame mounted.
