I don't see why anyone would consider using a screw type ball puller on a revolver.
For balls in the cyllinder a short length of brass rod through the nipple hole works fine. For balls in the barrel a length of hardwood dowel or a brass or nylon rod will bump it out easily.
A screw type puller takes quite a bit of effort and in the barrel generally two people to use. The screw going in expands the ball and makes it an even tighter fit and harder to remove.
