True, but if gun control was not an important enough issue for them to vote against Mr. Obama why do we think it is an important enough issue that their Congressmen might feel concerned about reelection.

For a long time the mantra of many gun rights supporters has been, “We have The House” but I fear as you say it may simply not be enough of an important issue for most people.
