Bill Adams (Company of Military Historians, collector, 19th Century rifle expert) was not impressed by one.
The hammer was not quite right. The rear sight is like that of a P-53 Enfield and the hooded front sight like the Enfield/Volunteer/P-H Whitworth sights. The "second quality" chequering isn't right and appeared to him heat pressed.
