I burned a lot of Unique as well as a lot of other Hercules powders. Then one day, on a lark, I tried Hodgdon powders, especially HS-6 for light to medium loads and been using that ever since. Actually I tried Winchester 540 first, then that was dropped and HS-6 was its twin, I stuck with HS-6.
My favorite powders now are Winchester 231, HS-6, and #2400.
