If you are going to spend that kind of money, you could get an original HK 91. The paddle mag release is a nice modification, but that is about all that I see worth much to me.
I bought a PTR 91 GI and have been very happy with that. The only thing I have done with it is replaced the slim handguard with a wide one and a bipod.
It was a good deal at $900.
