I noticed a gun on GB where the seller claims he special ordered it two years ago and just got it. I was curious if anyone here had ever special ordered a BP revolver and how you went about it. I see in the current Pietta catalog a few pieces that I have never seen offered by resellers such as Cimarron, Cabelas, Dixie, Taylors etc., or anywhere else for that matter. Unfortunately all they show is a picture. They do not give a MSRP or guidance on how to go about ordering. I know some of you guys have been into black powder collecting for many years and maybe can offer some ideas.
