They are very high quality revolvers. Not Freedom Arms level, but I'd say maybe a small step up over a Ruger Super Blackhawk. Which is basically what the BFRs are, a really beefy SBH. Essentially a Super Super Blackhawk
In fact a lot of the parts appear to be shared with the SBHs.
I'm not familiar enough with the Smith X frames to know how the crafsmanship compares between the two.
