Hi all,

I was looking at getting a black oxide finish on my S&W 686 as it turns out I don't like stainless finishes in an asthetic way anyway.

So i'm curious if this is worthwhile and how robust the oxide finish is?

This revolver is solely for range use so it won't get the carry wear and tear.
