The Kahr CW series is around $400. You can choose from 9mm, 40 s&w and 45 acp. I have both the 9mm and the 45 acp. They are reliable, accurate and also very concealable. I prefer the 9mm for carry because I outfitted mine with a CT laser. It still cost just a little over $500 even with the laser.
