I once had a Glock 27. I also had a 26. Decided I didn't need both so as a test I fired both at multiple targets. The 9mm was much faster followup so I traded the 40 for something I wanted more.

I wish I had not. Its like a pocket 357 only with double the firepower of the j frame or sp101. Although baby Glocks are not easy to pocket carry, I do when I can wear baggy shorts on the weekend.

I almost bought an all steel Kahr MK40 elite but passed because I was afraid the recoil would be too much. But maybe if all you have on tap is 5 or 6 rounds, it ought to be a 40 or 357.

Any other thoughts or opinions on pocket 40s?
