I shoot factory FMJs or plated lead which is not far removed from plain old lead in terms of reloading as well as some LWC. So not cast, but certainly lead has been through mine.
If you decide to get one, I think you'll be pleased: even has adjustable main-spring tensioner, under the grips. Remove them and you see a metal ring the spring is set into.
The ring has 4 apertures, each with a different depth recess for the spring, meaning that you can choose 4 degrees of preload on the main spring.
