I have a .38 Special S&W CTG Revolver. The butt has S 942065 stamped on it, the same on the chamber. When you open the chamber there's a 2 with 17478 under it. The barrel says SMITH AND WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. USA PATENTED FEB. 6. 06 SEPT. 14. 09 DEC. 29. 14. The action is very smooth but it definitely looks old with wear on the grip .
I need help figuring out what model it is, production year, value, etc.
