I think you are right about the Ranger. My 44 yr old eyes need all the sight radius they can get! I sure would like to find somebody who has loaded the OT Lazer 170gr. to standard velocity. Due to the funky alloy they use, I don't think you would have a leading problem. Adding a GC might help, but that adds to the cost and defeats one of the advantages of shooting cast, ie. cost.
