You have two options, stay with your current shotgun and go with a shorter barrel, IF Benelli will sell you one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (Browning comes to mind) or buy a newer version with the shorter barrel and ghost ring sights.
Me, I would go with the newer one and keep the longer barrel one for hunting.
I had the same choice with my Browning and went with a 'Tactical' version and kept my Hunter for just that--hunting.
You can never have too many shotguns!
