I am just starting out in Long Range serious shooting and have the opportunity to purchase a Styer 762x54 bolt action rifle that has a fiberglass stock that is glass beaded. The seller indicates the rifle has about 800 rounds shot through the rifle.

What are your thoughts vs. purchasing the New Remington 700 AAC SD? I would have to throw away the stock on the remington and glass bed another stock.
