+1 to above. You cannot go wrong with a solid .22LR to start with; bolt, single shot, or semi auto! If you do a little searching on here, you'll see we provide this advice pretty much every time for folks in your shoes.

The big thing, since you are 13, is make sure your parents are on board with you buying a new rifle. It will not go over very well if you bring it home from a friend's house without your parents knowing.
