Cold Dead Hands

Most of us have heard the comment about prying our guns from our "cold dead hands" attributed to Charleton Heston more recently. Well, he is deceased now and his hands are cold.

How do you feel about this concept in general? Is the Second Amendment right central to your rights as a citizen of the USA? Have you felt more or less this way as you get older? Do younger shooters (under 30) feel this way?

My general feelings have increased with the nearly constant challenges to our 2A rights. But at what point do you finally say, "whatever"? My response to this is generally "never". But do young shooters feel this way as they have never really known it any other way than a NICs check, Form 4473, or FOID cards in some states?
