Well, I voted S&W, primarily because I have a couple, and because I've been shooting S&Ws for the past 50 years. Nothing against Rugers, though. They do seem to be tough as nails. The last time I looked at a Taurus, the finish quality left me rather cold. It was a Model 22, and it was cheap, but it certainly wasn't in the same league as a comparable Beretta.
