I've had good luck with locally produced 230 gr. LRN bullets and 4.7 gr. of Titegroup. That's a near-max load, so you might want to tone it down a bit, or at least work up to it, but it's worked well in both my Ruger P345 and .45ACP S&W Model 22-4 revolver.

This same load also works well as a milder load for 185 gr. bullets in the same guns. No function issues at all in the semi-auto. Revolver loads can go quite a bit lighter, but may not work well in a semi-auto.
