If possible, you should post a few pics of the Sauer here to get a ballpark value. Then you can decide what further steps to take. Shipping costs to/from the 'smith could come out to half the value of the gun. Although 7.65 handguns are collectible, especially Sauers, they don't usually bring much money. If you can find the parts, fixing it yourself might be the best solution. You'll find lots of on-line help.
