I'm also in the Bar Area. For serious, tactical training, I'd suggest Advanced Weapons and Tactics (as noted by Jasper) or the classes being offered by Louis Awerbuck at Reed's Indoor Range (http://www.reedsindoorrange.com, and see http://ezine.m1911.org/awerback.htm ).

For a solid, basic handgun class, I'd recommend BayProfs (http://www.bayprofs.org ).
