I was looking for something for a very similar gap. I ended up purchasing a Walther PPS and love it. I looked that the LC9, PM9/CM9 as well as others. I went into the LGS planning on getting the CM9, but really liked the PPS more. Nothing wrong with the others, I just like the PPS better overall.
