Bought one in 1971 after comparing it with the Erma .22lr. Got the Stoeger because of their hype about owning the rights to the Luger name. Should have got the Erma because my Stoeger had multiple failures to eject per magazine no matter what ammo I used. Sent it back to Stoeger with two magazines and it came back with crude filing around the chamber. Still multiple FTEs, often 10 out of 10. It actually was more reliable held upside down!
I got rid of it and bought a real WWII Luger and a Ruger Mark I .22lr. Glad to hear someone got a good one!
