It's a head scratcher.
I took some stock material around the area of the trigger.
Pull with the stock on dropped to 5 lbs now. But I'm not sure if that's due to the sanding or something else.
It's consistent as a torque the two action screws on the trigger guard the pull weight rises.
There's no binding on left or right (way too much space, relatively, in the stock's cut out for the trigger).
Will work more on the front and rear.
I notice that the action at the very end isn't really thick steel.
Could the rearmost action screw me bending that portion down and pre-loading the pull weight spring?
